Lake County Needs Assessment Collaborative



Free Childbirth Education Classes

Our childbirth education classes are free and open to those expecting within the next two to three months. Please bring a pillow and blanket to aid you during our relaxation exercises. Classes start the first Tuesday of every month, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the Clearlake Family Health Center Conference Room, 15230 Lakeshore Drive, Clearlake. Call 995-5875 to register for the next series of classes.

St. Helena Hospital Clearlake Announces Leadership Change (4/14/2009)
St. Helena Hospital Clearlake has appointed Jennifer Swenson, who has been part of the hospital's management team for the past five years, to vice president of operations effective May 2, 2009. She replaces Linda Gibson who is leaving Adventist Health following a restructuring of the leadership team.

St. Helena Hospital Clearlake has opened the new Kelseyville Family Health Center and hired Saska Sookra, MD, family medicine specialist, as the new full-time physician.

St. Helena Urology is now open in Clearlake. Mindy Samuelson, M.D. and John Brasch, M.D. specialize in treating incontinence and prostate cancer in addition to a variety of medical conditions related to the bladder, kidneys, urinary tract, and male reproductive organs.

St. Helena Hospital Clearlake Announces Leadership Change (1/7/2009)
JoAline Olson, president/CEO of St. Helena Hospital Clearlake, has been named vice president of clinical innovation for the hospital's parent healthcare system Adventist Health. Terry Newmyer of Florida Hospital will be the new president/CEO of St. Helena Hospital Clearlake and its sister facilities, St. Helena Hospital in Napa County and the St. Helena Center for Behavioral Health in Vallejo. The leadership change takes effect in early February.
