Redbud Family Dental Clinic
Redbud
Family Dental Clinic is located in the same building as Redbud Family Health
Center and sees over 700 patients every month. This state-of-the-art dental office includes four spacious dental suites
and is a paperless digital office. DENTRIX dental software allows for high-tech
digital imaging, including a camera with live video feed. Dr. Mark Cooper,
D.D.S. is the Medical Director of the Clinic, and dental services are provided
by Dr. Cooper, Dr. James Kinsel, D.D.S. and Dr. Eun Sub Jang, D.D.S.
Dental school is four years in duration, and is similar in format to medical school--consisting of two years of basic medical and dental sciences, followed by two years of clinical training. Before graduating, the Clinic's dentists successfully completed the National Board Dental Examination Part I and II, which covered anatomic sciences, biochemistry, physiology, microbiology, pathology, dental anatomy, occlusion, operative dentistry, pharmacology, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, pain control, prosthodontics, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral pathology, and radiology. The DDS degree refers to Doctor of Dental Surgery.
